No Tankers

The Carnival Band 'lite' was hired to accompany an oil tanker (symbolically) from Burrard and Pender to Granville and Robson. The procession/street theatre attracted lots of attention and hopefully got the message across to those who were outside enjoying the fall sun.

British Columbians don't want to risk shipping 700,000 barrels at a time through local waters.

Dig-in For Climate Justice

A small but vital Carnival Band led the 10/10/10 protest march from Scott Road Skytrain to the banks of the Fraser River in Bridgeview.

The police were present but there were no incidents while the band was there.

Here, fresh from the editing room, is Rosalee's video of the Robson Street flashmob.

On Sunday, Sept. 26 The Carnival Band led a procession along Robson from Thurlow St. to the Vancouver Public Library at Homer St.

A big thank you goes out to Rosalee and her team of videographers
